Long-term Commitment to Our Members
ELC was initiated in June 2011 by a group of passionate young students who are looking to make a difference in their respective community.
Now, some of them are studying in the United Kingdom, some are pursuing their higher education in the United States of America, while others are attending colleges and universities in Canada and Australia. All through their study, they noticed the importance of practical planning as well as the inadequacy of support provided by school-based education system.
In order to serve more aspiring students and bring their ideas to life, these young people choose to launch the ELC platform.
We sincerely invite you to participate in our various programs and hope one day you can become whatever you want to be.

TOEFL and IELTS
TOEFL (www.ets.org) and IELTS (www.ielts.org) scores can accurately measure proficiency of English-language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
For IELTS, many universities require an at least total band 6.5 with no part less than 6.0, while some top universities or competitive majors state clearly that no band should be less than 7.0.
As to the internet-based TOEFL test, most universities require a least overall score 90 with no section less than 21, while some elite universities stress a minimum score of 100.
After some systematic and persistent training, students can find that their targeted scores are absolutely reachable and attainable.
As to which test is best for international students, we have to take university application into consideration.
SAT and ACT
ACT (www.act.org) consists of four subjects test: English, Mathematics, Reading, Science; SAT (www.collegeboard.org) tests three sections: Critical Reading, Mathematics, and Writing.
The ACT lasts 2 hours and 55 minutes plus an additional half hour if you take the optional writing section; the SAT lasts 3 hours and 45 minutes.
Your scaled ACT score ranges from 1 to 36, and half of all students taking the ACT have scores between 17 and 23. Each section on the SAT test is scored on a scale of 200-800, and the maximum total score is 2400.
ACT and SAT scores are highly valued by elite universities in US and the world as well.

Social Programs: Hope Supports Our Future
We, a group of idealists, firmly believe that our individual happiness is inextricably bound to the happiness of every soul in our community.
Currently, we are making efforts to develop some social projects in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanxi, Gansu and Yunnan provinces: investigating local ecosystem; encouraging public library use; compiling local history; supporting children with disability; caring about rural education; sharing education resources with students.
Preserving a harmonious life requires collective action. Realizing posperity and dignity needs common effort and common purpose.
Our social programs are open to every aspiring student.
